Chocolate Chip Pancakes
Pancakes are awesome. They remind me of being a kid, sitting around having a lazy morning and stuffing myself on a breakfast that's not quite as healthy as some might think. And if you're going to be a kid, you might as well throw in chocolate chips
.
Yield: 5-6 large pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- Maple syrup
- Whipped cream
Directions
- In medium bowl, beat egg by hand. Add flour, milk, sugar, oil, baking powder, and salt. Beat just until mixed.
- Add in the chocolate chips. Beat just until mixed.
- Heat your gridle to 375°F. Pour batter onto gridle. When the edgess start to look dry, flip. Store finished pancakes in warm oven while you're cooking.
- Serve with maple syrup and whipped cream.
