I love banana bread, and it can be hard to find variations on the classic so that you don't get bored. Here's a good one that I really like.

Ingredients
- Bread
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 5-6 large bananas
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 5 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp salt
- Icing
- 4 tbsp milk
- 5 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
Directions
- Cream together the sugar, butter, and peanut butter. Beat in the eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, bananas, and chocolate chips.
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir just until mixed.
- Grease the bottoms only of three bread pans and divide the batter evenly. Alternatively, place three dozen paper liners into muffin tins and fill.
- Bake loaves at 350°F for 60-75 minutes. Bake muffins at 400°F for 20-25 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack.
- For icing, mix all three ingredients together. Pipe into a pattern on the bread as shown in pictures.
