I wanted to mix it up a bit with this cobbler, so I tossed in some berries and extra spices. It's easy to experiment to get the flavor you like, so get adventurous.

Ingredients
- Filling
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp cardamom
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 6 cups peeled and sliced peaches
- 1 1/2 tsp lime juice
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- Pastry
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp cold butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
Directions
- Heat oven to 400°F.
- In a medium pot, combine the sugar, brown sugar, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, and cornstarch. Add the peaches, lime juice, and blueberries. Stir together.
- Cook over medium heat until they boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and pour into a 3 quart casserole dish. Place in the oven to keep warm.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until crumbly. Add the milk and mix well.
- Drop the batter on top of the peach & blueberry filling. You should have enough to cover the entire top.
- Bake at 400°F for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
