Banana bread is a staple food for me to make, and as such I'm always on the lookout for a new variation to try. This recipe was made with some leftovers in my cabinet and I dare say it turned out pretty well.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 4 eggs
- 6 bananas, mashed
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 5 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
Directions
- Cream together the sugar, butter, and peanut butter. Mix in the eggs, bananas, milk, and vanilla until well blended.
- Add the flour, baking soda and salt. Stir just until moistened. Fold in the nuts.
- Grease the bottoms-only of three bread pans. Divide the batter evenly between the three pans.
- Bake at 350°F for 50-70 minutes, until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.
- Cool on a wire rack.
