Ingredients
- 4 tbsp fresh mint, minced
- 5 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 1/2 lbs ground pork
- 1 egg
- Sliced cheese, if desired
- 12 hamburger buns
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the first 12 ingredients. Form into 12 burger patties.
- Cook the burgers on the grill over medium-low heat, flipping once.
- If desired, place a slice of cheese on each burger for the last 2 minutes of cooking so that it melts.
- Serve on buns. Top with your favorite condiments.
