Yield: 1 large pizza
Ingredients
- 1 large pizza crust
- 1/3 lb. ground beef
- 3 tsp chili powder
- 3/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1 can (15 oz.) refried beans
- 1/2 lb. shredded Mexican cheese blend
- Cilantro, to taste
- 1/4 white onion, sauteed.
- 1 yellow hot pepper, sliced
- 1 Roma tomato, diced
- 1/2 avocado, cut into cubes
Directions
- If making pizza crust from scratch, bake it according to recipe directions.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain the fat. Mix in the chili powder and cumin.
- Spread a layer of refried beans on the pizza crust. Top with ground beef & cheese. Sprinkle on the cilantro and layer on the onion & yellow pepper.
- Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes.
- Top with tomato and avocado.
- Let stand for 3-4 minutes before slicing and serving.
