Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup oil
- 4-5 apples, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Maple syrup.
Directions
- To make the batter, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the milk, eggs, and oil. Set aside.
- In an oven-safe skillet, heat a small amount of oil. Add the apples, lemon juice, and cinnamon and saute over medium heat until the apples are tender and lightly browned.
- Pour the batter over the apples. Transfer to the oven and bake at 500°F for 8-10 minutes. The edges should be very lightly browned.
- Remove from the oven. Cut and serve immediately with maple syrup.
