Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp cracked red pepper
- 1 9" pie crust
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Directions
- Cook the sausage and onion in a skillet. Drain the fat.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and cracked red pepper.
- Place the cooked sausage & onion mixture into the pie crust. Cover with half the cheese, and then pour the eggs over the top. Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
- Let the quiche rest for 10 minutes, and then serve warm.
