This is Gwen's go-to recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 16 oz. egg noodles, prepared al dente
Directions
- Melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until tender.
- Add the beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in the garlic, salt, pepper, and cream of chicken soup. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in the sour cream and mix well. Cook over low heat until heated through.
- Serve over the prepared egg noodles.
